Dave Smith

 

Dave Smith , originally from Jacksonville, FL is the amazing artist for our devotional
puzzles: "Birth of Christ", "Armor of God", and "He is Risen." In November 2017, Dave

passed away very unexpectedly.  He left an incredible legacy of family and friends behind

who miss him dearly…but who will carry on his heart, vision and passion of winning the

lost through creativity! 

Not only was Dave a very talented artist who studied at the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, 

but he and his wife Jackie have been children's pastors at The Rock Church in Huntsville,

AL since 2000. 

Jackie personally wrote the devotions for our "Armor of God" devotional puzzle. They
used this very creative teaching in their children's ministry at their church. For 22 years
they have travelled with "By Royal Decree Children's Ministry Crusades"  teaching, 
training , and equipping family and children for ministry. 

Dave & Jackie's passion for children extends way past just the church walls. They partnered

with a team to develop "Wow Parties" to help families create and provide extra special birthday parties for their children.  They truly know how to make events special and done with excellence.  They always carry this excellence in everything they do. 
                                                                                                                                                        
Dave & Jackie have many great accomplishments.  Of the numerous things they have poured their heart, soul and talent into, their three children have been the proof of not only what comes out of their ministry, but out of their home.  All three of their adult children are involved in full time ministry, as well as creative outlets in music, performance, and digital editing.  Their hearts for people and passion to serve are the best example to see inside the heart of this amazing couple.  We are honored that they have taken their time and talent to see that Pieces of the Promise has the opportunity to reach the homes of children all over the world.

Pieces of the Promise is so blessed to have had Pastor Dave play such a vital role in the success and launch of these devotion puzzles.  He will continue to be greatly missed…but his legacy lives on.  We’re thankful that he and Jackie have been a part of this team! We love and appreciate you both!
